1 DR FROGS
Dr Frogs Bar & Grill in Chaweng Noi is one of our picks. Dr Frogs Koh Samui is located on a cliff near one of the most popular Koh Samui viewpoints called Lad Koh View Point.
On a clear day, the views over the turquoise ocean and Chaweng Beach coast line, are just incredible.
But is not only the amazing view! To top it up, food at Dr Frogs is delicious. Dr Frogs' menu is a combination of Thai and Italian dishes to please anyone's taste. Do you fancy some local delicacies?, you got it! Do you need a little break from Thai food? Get a pizza or pasta!

2 JUNGLE CLUB
Ahh… the Jungle Club Koh Samui resort. Such good memories! I celebrated my 36th birthday here!
The Jungle Club is a resort and restaurant at the top of a hill in Chaweng Noi. The restaurant balcony looks like a suspended platform with tables and bean bags. The views from the restaurant, overlooking Chaweng Noi, Chaweng Beach and Chaweng Lake, are breathtaking at day and night.
With private areas available, in the restaurant, Jungle Club is perfect for a romantic dinner. Having large round tables with several bean bags makes it ideal for larger groups too. Great atmosphere to dine here and enjoy a cocktail!
Tip: The road to get there is steep. If you find difficulties with your own vehicle they have tracks to take you up the hill.
3 THE GIANT SUMMIT KOH SAMUI
Located in Namuang hills, The Giant Summit Koh Samui is a Thai style restaurant set on an impressive balcony, suspended on a mountain's hillside.
The Giant Summit Koh Samui has, in our opinion, one of the best views of the island. The phenomenal view from the balcony beats some of the top Koh Samui viewpoints, hands down.
The food is good and reasonably priced but the spectacular view what makes the drive to the Giant Summit worth it. Even if you go for a fruit shake or a beer, give it a go, specially if the day is clear.
Tip: Leave your car on the restaurant parking and have a walk around. It is beautiful out there..
Tip: It is a good idea to stop by The Giant Summit, if you are around the area visiting Wat Khunaram (Mummified Monk temple) or trekking at Namuang Waterfall. It is a short drive from these locations!
4 KOH THAI KITCHEN (FOUR SEASONS KOH SAMUI)
Located at the northwest corner of the island, Four Seasons Koh Samui Resort has views in line with what you would expect from the Four Seasons brand… extraordinary! One of the top 5 star hotels in Koh Samui, everything at Four Seasons Koh Samui feels special.
Koh Thai Kitchen & Bar is one of the 3 dining venues available at the resort. A golf buggy type of transport will pick you from the resort's entrance to take on a nice ride to the restaurant across the hills. The views overlooking the ocean, surrounding jungle hills and islands are just like a postcard!
View, ambience, food and service are just fabulous. The standard you would expect from Four Seasons. Price goes with it, but in our opinion, the value you get from the overall experience it is well worth the cost. Don't take our word for it, book a table and get something extra special on us 😉

One of our top picks! Vikasa Yoga has amazing views and a fantastic food and drinks menu. You cannot ask for more!
Located in Chaweng Noi, somewhere between Lad Koh View Point and Silver Beach, the restaurant at Vikasa Yoga Retreat has one of the best ocean views Koh Samui has to offer. The restaurant is set on a balcony on the top of a cliff. Their balcony provides a 180+ degrees of unspoiled ocean view.
Vikasa is a famous sanctuary retreat among yoga practitioners looking for a mind and body cleansing. Food is an essential component and the restaurant menu doesn't fall short. The original menu at Vikasa was designed by renowned top class chefs, specialised in organic, whole and raw cuisine such Boris Lauser form Berlin and Cyril Schivo from Paris.
