Full Moon Restaurant at Anantara Bophut Resort in Koh Samui is one of the island’s flagship fine dining experience. The Full Moon Restaurant is in the centre of the resort, overlooking the swimming pool and the beach, and is the perfect place to enjoy a romantic dinner in Koh Samui. The tabkes sit in the centre of a beautifully landscaped tropical garden, alongside an infinity-edged swimming pool. The ground floor includes the restaurant and the pool bar, while the second floor is an open-sided terrace with tables and chairs that can accommodate up to 30 guests.
At lunchtime, Full Moon is an idyllic tropical restaurant: the view to the pool and the blue waters of Koh Phangan are breathtaking. The atmosphere is casual yet elegant.
Full Moon Restaurant is very quiet after sunset, and all that is heard are the songs of the insects and frogs that live in the resort’s garden. This gives the restaurant a quiet, romantic feel. The service is excellent and is in line with the high standards that Anantara sets for its guests.

Full Moon Restaurant is run by South African Executive Chef David Eldridge. He creates all the food and select the wines from the finest produce available. Chef David Eldridge works with only the best organic and free-range produce and chooses the freshest ingredients available. You can expect to find at Full Moon Restaurant high-end dishes made with ingredients that are carefully sourced to ensure that the flavours are vibrant and flavourful. Some of the dishes on the menu include seared tuna loins with crushed black pepper, sundried tomatoes and wild rocket leaves. There’s also pan-fried beef and leeks with finely chopped spring onions and sugar peas and grilled duck breast with sweet potato and tomato marmalade.
