Maenam Pier

Maenam Pier is located on the northern part of Samui Island and western end of Maenam Beach. It is also known as Pralarn Pier or Lomprayah Ferry Pier. Lomprayah is the main operator that provides passenger ferry services at Maenam Pier, using high speed catamarans. The pier has ferry services with daily departures to and from Koh Phangan, Koh Tao and the Surat Thani mainland.

Maenam is close to more traditional and rural Samui areas and has more of a village feel. Maenam Beach, although not as well known as the other beaches on the island, is still very beautiful and you can enjoy a relaxed atmosphere here, not as touristy. The water is calm and good for swimming. The sand is clean and good for walking.

There are a variety of restaurants along Maenam Beach, if you are planning to take a ferry at Maenam Pier, you have a good excuse to eat at one of these.
