LAMAI NIGHT MARKET
UPDATE SEPTEMBER 2024:
Lamai Night Market, located at 139, 2, Maret, Koh Samui is a smaller and newer alternative to the well-known Sunday Night Lamai Food Market, situated in a different location.
Despite its size, this market offers a variety of food options including BBQ, pizza, Thai dishes, and Western cuisine. It also features live music on most nights, making it a lively spot to enjoy an evening out. While the prices are not particularly low for a typical Thai street food market, the market provides a convenient and family-friendly environment with souvenir stalls and reasonably priced drinks. The ongoing renovations aim to expand and improve the market, promising a better experience in the near future.
Tip: Visit on a day when you are in the area; otherwise, if you want to experience a good night market, we would recommend Chaweng Lake Night Market or Fisherman’s Village Night Market.
