Koh Samui: Full Day KohPlan - West Side Hidden Gems

Morning:

Breakfast at The Road Less Travelled**
Kick off your day with breakfast at The Road Less Travelled, a cozy cafe in Nathon known for its organic coffee, vegan-friendly options, and relaxed atmosphere.

Hike at Hin Lad Waterfall
After breakfast, make your way to the Hin Lad Waterfall. The trek to the waterfall through the jungle is almost as rewarding as the destination itself. Spend your morning surrounded by the serene environment, taking in the sights and sounds of nature. Swimming is possible if the weather permits, so consider packing your swimming attire.

Lunch at a Local Restaurant
Following your morning at the waterfall, head to one of the local restaurants nearby. This could be an opportunity to try some delicious Thai cuisine.

Afternoon:

Dusit Deva Cultural Center
Post-lunch, visit the Dusit Deva Cultural Center, a place dedicated to Thai, Burmese, Indian, and Balinese cultures. It houses a collection of statues, sculptures, and temple replicas that provide an insight into Buddhist and Hindu traditions.

Lipa Noi Beach
Next, head to Lipa Noi Beach. It’s a quiet, beautiful, and family-friendly beach with soft white sand and shallow water. Spend some time relaxing on the beach or swimming in the crystal-clear waters.

Elephant Gate
After relaxing on the beach, go see the Elephant Gate, a striking landmark featuring two giant elephant statues.

Evening:

Laem Sor Pagoda and Wat Khao Chedi
Proceed to Laem Sor Pagoda, an important and beautiful religious site set on the seafront. Its golden hue at sunset is particularly impressive. Afterwards, visit Wat Khao Chedi, a white Buddhist stupa located on a hill with stunning views of the coastline and neighboring islands.

Dinner at Sweet Sisters Cafe
End your day with dinner at Sweet Sisters Cafe in Thong Krut. This restaurant offers a range of healthy and organic Thai and fusion dishes, making it a great way to wrap up your adventure-busy day.

Tips:
1. You need your own car rental, or scooter if you are an experienced motorbike driver.
2. Make sure to wear appropriate attire when visiting religious sites.
3. Don’t forget to bring a hat, sunscreen, and water and mosquito repellent.
4. Be respectful of the natural and cultural sites you’re visiting. Enjoy but also preserve these places for future visitors.
5. Some of these locations may have entrance fees, so it’s recommended to carry some cash.
